Xeomin®

Xeomin is a neurotoxin injection that works by using incobotulinumtoxina to stop the frequent muscle contractions that come with everyday facial expressions that cause the deep lines between the eyebrows. This treatment provides results for patients who have moderate to severe frown lines and is a quick, out patient procedure.

Treatment & Results

Xeomin® treatment involves a series of injections with a very fine gauge needle. Xeomin treatments can take up to 3-5 days to start to appear, maximum results in 14 days.  Xeomin results typically last approximately 3 months depending on the person and what area was treated. Xeomin is not a permanent treatment; regular maintenance every 3 months is recommended.

Post Care

Xeomin® injections require no downtime, so you can get right back to your regular activities. You may feel some soreness at the injection site for a few hours or days after treatment, but this is usually minimal and passes quickly. You should avoid strenuous aerobic exercise (increasing the heart rate and sweating), extreme heat, and do not massage the site for at least 24 hours after.
